Miami Springs · Miami-Dade County

Habitat Creators originated a workforce-housing proposal for County-owned land in Miami Springs and revised the approach to affordable homeownership. In April 2025, the Miami-Dade Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution R-373-25, authorizing a conditional land sale to Habitat for affordable townhomes.

The matter brought together public-land disposition, housing policy, aviation requirements, utility protections, and affordability covenants.
