Gordon Bello, Esq., is President of Habitat Creators, a real estate development and consulting firm based in South Florida. He leads company strategy, development, and government-affairs engagements, working across planning, zoning, design coordination, and the direction of project and advisory teams.

His work brings together the practical requirements of real estate development and the public processes that shape a project. At Habitat Creators, that includes coordinating development priorities with architects, engineers, legal counsel, and reviewing agencies.

The company’s residential focus includes custom homes, multifamily housing, and affordable and workforce development. Its affordable-housing work led to an established government affairs and advocacy practice, covering policy strategy, agency coordination, public-private initiatives, and stakeholder engagement.

For The AMANI Residences in Brownsville, Bello’s responsibilities include development strategy, planning and zoning coordination, design coordination, and brand direction. The planned community comprises 25 family-sized affordable rental homes. Site-plan review and entitlement work remain in progress.

Affordable homeownership on public land

Habitat Creators originated a workforce-housing proposal for County-owned land and revised it to affordable homeownership. In April 2025, the County adopted Resolution R-373-25 authorizing a conditional land sale for affordable townhomes.
